About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Night Patient Calling Manager
to join our dynamic medical billing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of patient callers and ensuring effective communication with patients regarding their medical bills, outstanding balances, insurance queries, and payment plans--primarily during U.S. hours.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Team Management
Supervise and lead the patient calling team during night shift operations.
Ensure team targets and quality standards are consistently met.
Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Patient Communication
Oversee patient outreach to discuss billing inquiries, balances, payment plans, and insurance issues.
Handle escalated or complex calls with professionalism and empathy.
Ensure HIPAA compliance in all communications.
Monitor daily call volumes, follow-ups, and resolution rates.
Maintain call logs, activity reports, and call quality audits.
Generate performance and productivity reports.
Operational Efficiency
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance call efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Coordinate with billing and insurance teams to ensure data accuracy and issue resolution.
Client & Internal Collaboration
Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure consistent communication flow.
Assist in resolving disputes or discrepancies with billing or payment-related queries.
Requirements:
Minimum [X] years of experience in
medical billing and patient calling
(preferably U.S. healthcare system).
Prior experience in
team handling or managerial role
is a must.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong knowledge of
HIPAA
, insurance verification, AR follow-up, and payment processing.
Ability to work independently in
night shift
(U.S. time).
Proficiency in medical billing software/tools (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athena, etc. -- customize as needed).

Pay: From ?60,000.00 per month
