Job Description

Core responsibilities

Patient Care:

Provide specialized care to critically ill and premature infants.

Monitoring:

Continuously monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) and overall condition.

Medication and Treatment:

Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutrition as prescribed by physicians, which may involve complex calculations and double-checking.

Equipment Operation:

Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and phototherapy lights.

Assessment and Procedures:

Perform diagnostic tests and assist in procedures like IV cannulation.

Family Support:

Educate and provide emotional support to parents and families regarding the infant's condition and care.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and document all care provided.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Required skills and qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Experience in NICU, pediatric, or critical care settings Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Strong clinical skills in areas like ventilator management, IV therapy, and patient assessment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: ?18,471.98 - ?30,242.71 per month
