Position Summary:
The NICU Nurse will provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns, ensuring close monitoring, safe treatment, and support for both infants and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide round-the-clock care for premature and critically ill neonates in the NICU.
Monitor and record vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall health status of newborns.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutrition as prescribed by neonatologists.
Operate and monitor incubators, ventilators, and other neonatal medical equipment.
Maintain infection control practices and ensure a sterile environment in the NICU.
Assist doctors during neonatal procedures and emergencies.
Educate and support parents regarding baby care, feeding, and post-discharge care.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of patient conditions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality neonatal care.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / B.Sc. in Nursing (with valid registration under the Nursing Council).
Minimum 2 years' experience in NICU or pediatric care required.
Strong knowledge of neonatal health, baby care, and emergency response.
Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Work Conditions:
Rotational shifts (12 hours).
Exposure to critical medical cases requiring high emotional resilience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
