About the Role:

We are looking for someone to

manage our Instagram page, The Desi Bulletin

, where we post short, bite-sized news updates regularly. Your role is to stay updated on news across

all fields

- politics, sports, Bollywood, science, tech, lifestyle and turn it into content that's informative, engaging, and shareable.

Responsibilities:

Stay

extremely up to date

with news and trends across

politics, sports, tech, lifestyle, entertainment, and pop culture

. Support the team in

managing and growing multiple in-house Instagram pages

, including news and pop culture pages. Collaborate closely with the team to

expand page reach, improve engagement, and drive consistent audience growth

. Source accurate news from

credible platforms

and convert it into

engaging social media content

. Track social media trends closely and turn them into

fast, relevant content

. Conduct

thorough research

before publishing to maintain credibility and factual accuracy. Write

catchy, high-retention scripts

for Instagram news videos segment (Desi Bulletin show). Follow

pre-defined templates, content formats, and editorial guidelines

while creating posts. Collaborate with the execution team to

bring ideas to life

and drive strong reach and growth.

What we're looking for:

You have prior experience in managing a page on Instagram You're chronically online (but in a useful way) You like reading news and daily updates You understand how social media works and why things go viral
Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: ?5,000.00 - ?6,000.00 per month
