We are looking for a dynamic and engaging News Anchor who can do more than just deliver news on camera. The ideal candidate should be able to research, write compelling scripts, and distribute content across social media platforms to maximize audience engagement. This is a hybrid role combining traditional journalism with digital content creation, tailored for the modern media landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Anchor live and recorded news bulletins with confidence, clarity, and credibility.

Research current events and write clear, concise, and engaging scripts for broadcast and digital.

Collaborate with reporters, producers, and editors to develop daily news content.

Publish stories, videos, and highlights on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter).

Record and edit short-form news videos or reels tailored for digital audiences.

Monitor news trends and analytics to adapt content for maximum engagement.

Respond to comments and engage with the online community in a professional manner.

Maintain consistency with the network's editorial tone, visual standards, and brand identity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a News Anchor, Reporter, or Broadcast Journalist.

Strong script writing and storytelling skills with excellent command of the language (Hindi/English or regional language).

Proficiency with basic video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or mobile editing apps).

Hands-on experience with social media platforms and publishing tools (Meta Creator Studio, YouTube Studio, etc.).

Excellent communication and on-camera presentation skills.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle breaking news situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field.

Experience in a digital-first newsroom or hybrid TV/digital role.

Knowledge of SEO, hashtags, and social video optimization.

Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.
