The NPD Manager oversees the planning, execution, and

Delivery of new products, collaborating with cross-functional

Teams like R&D, marketing, design, and manufacturing. Their

Primary focus is to convert innovative concepts into market

Ready products while ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer

Satisfaction

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

Minimum 10+ years of experience in New Product

Development.

Must be from Electronics & Automotive background.

Technical Skills

Understanding of complete product requirements & derive

Complete product multi BOM (High Level Assembly & Box

Build) structure.

Knowledge in reading & review of engineering drawings of

Sheet metal parts, Plastic parts, Wiring Harness Assembly &

PCB Assemblies.

Strong knowledge in DFMEA & PFMEA.

Must have excellent analytical skills.

Knowledge in ECN / PCN Management & EOL / Obsolesce

Management.

Knowledge in PLM Team enter work flow process.

Experience in Quality system like ISO, IATF, AS & ISO 13485

Knowledge & certification of PMP, Six Sigma and DMAIC

Knowledge in PPAP, APQP, FAI Processes

Roles and responsibilities

Responsible for Production Validation Testing (PVT)

Samples execution & approval

Planning, Execution & Monitoring of all Transfer products

From R &D to Manufacturing plant

On time Product Transfers from R &D to Manufacturing

Plant

Maintaining of all Lessons learnt for the product at all the

Stages

Reviewing and analysing the

Customer product

Requirements with respect to the Nash's capabilities,

Identifying the requirements and gaps.

Collaborating with customers and project management

Team to address the gaps and clarifications to meet the

Product requirements.

Analysing and maintaining the Product BOM as per Product

Tree structure.

Releasing and maintaining all customer / product

Documents to document control in order to enable

Structured and easy access.

Drive DFM anlysis and implementation of correctvie actions

Before releasing the product

Leading the qualification process during proto build and

Ensuring the customer requirements are met on the

Product.

Identify the gaps in proto build and improve the efficiency

Of the product to enable mass production with consistent

Quality.

Sheet metal / Plastic / Wiring Harness / PCB Component

Localization related technical queries to be resolved

Identification & review of Alternates / Equivalents parts

Successfully implement any engineering changes on the

Product during its life cycle.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Knowledge in MS Office, MS Project, Solid works / Creo /

NX / Altium / Cadence /Valor DFM, IHS / Silicon expert,

GC Preview and knowledge in PLM tool.
