Job Opening: NPD Engineer (Home Appliances)

Location: Ghaziabad

Industry: Electric Motors / Home Appliances

Experiance: Strong engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).

Proficiency in CAD software and design principles.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience with DFMEA, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and project management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

An NPD (New Product Development) Engineermanages new product creation from idea to launch, leading design, prototyping, and testing while collaborating across teams (marketing, manufacturing, quality) to meet specs, budgets, and timelines, ensuring compliance and driving innovation for market success. Key tasks include technical documentation, material selection, cost analysis, process optimization, and supplier management, focusing on reliability and manufacturability. Core Responsibilities

Product Design & Development:

Conceptualize, design, and model new products using CAD, creating detailed technical specs and BOMs (Bills of Materials).

Prototyping & Testing:

Build and test prototypes, validating performance, reliability, and adherence to standards through iterative design cycles.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work with Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Sales to align product goals with market needs and production capabilities.

Project Management:

Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on track from concept to commercialization.

Manufacturing Support:

Assist production teams during launch, troubleshoot issues, and optimize designs for efficient mass production.

Compliance & Quality:

Ensure all designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards (e.g., IATF, industry-specific).

Documentation:

Create and maintain engineering drawings, test reports, SOPs, and project records.

Continuous Improvement:

Research market trends, gather feedback, and refine existing products and development processes.
