Job Description

The New Product Development Engineer Trainee will work under the supervision of the NPD In charge and experienced engineers to learn the principles and practices. This role is ideal for fresh engineering graduates or diploma holders passionate about product innovation, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the research, design, and development of new products as per market and customer requirements. Support in preparing product prototypes, samples, and conducting initial trials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Production, Quality, and Purchase during product development stages. Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting for product trials and validations. Maintain accurate documentation of product drawings, specifications, and process changes. Involve in identifying product improvement opportunities for existing product lines. Follow safety, quality, and standard operating procedures during development activities. Provide technical support during pilot production and initial mass production batches.
