We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented

NPD Engineer

to join our New Product Development team at

Vaishnav Fastners

. The ideal candidate must have strong

AutoCAD skills

and should be able to create and interpret technical drawings related to cold forging, stamping, and precision fasteners.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and modify

technical drawings

using AutoCAD for new fastener components Collaborate with the production and quality departments to ensure manufacturability Assist in

PPAP, APQP, and feasibility documentation

Translate product ideas and concepts into

production-ready designs

Support cost-saving initiatives through

value engineering

Required Skills:

Proficiency in

AutoCAD 2D & 3D drafting

Basic understanding of

fastener manufacturing processes

(cold forging, stamping, machining) Ability to read and interpret

engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerances

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred:

Prior experience in the

fastener or precision components industry

Familiarity with ISO/TS/IATF quality standards
