Mandatory skills

Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in New Product Development

Technical SKILLS:

Understanding of complete product requirements & derive

Complete product multi BOM (High Level Assembly & Box

Build) structure

Knowledge in reading & review of engineering drawings of

Sheet metal parts, Plastic parts, Wiring Harness Assembly &

PCB Assemblies

Strong knowledge in DFMEA & PFMEA

Resolve complex Manufacturing technical issues.

Knowledge in ECN / PCN Management & EOL / Obsolence

Management

Knowledge Gerber Review Tool's (View Mate, GC-Prevue) PLM,

ERP/SAP.

Experience in Quality system like ISO, IATF, AS & ISO 13485

Knowledge in ROHS, REACH & Conflict minerals compliances

Knowledge in PPAP , APQP, FAI Processes

RESPONSIBILITIES

Able to understand the Product Specifications

Part number creation and database management

MPN & Make Validation with respect to name Suitability to

Product

Design Review, Prototyping, DFM/DFA/DFT APQP, FMEA,

PPAP, FAI & Validation

Gerber, 2D drawings reading, BOM, ECN & Assembly

Documentation

Box Build, SMT & THT Process Expertise Cost Optimization,

Fixture Design & Process Setup

Creating & maintaining operational and supporting

Documents.

Analysis of Bill of Material and scrubbing

Knowledge on ROHS, REACH & Conflict minerals

Compliances

Execution of Proto & Pilot Build

Product Transfer to Mass Production13. Identification &

Review of Alternates / Equivalents parts

Additional skills and competencies

Knowledge in MS Office, MS Project, Solidworks / Valor DFM, GC

Preview and knowledge in PLM tool
