About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Product Development (NPD) Engineer with a strong background in engineering design, prototyping, and product launch processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience leading or supporting the development of new products from concept to commercialisation. You will collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective products that meet customer and market needs.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead or support end-to-end product development cycles including concept generation, feasibility studies, design validation, and production launch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain) to define product requirements and ensure manufacturability. Create and manage technical documentation including design specifications, DFMEAs, BOMs, test plans, and engineering change requests. Develop and validate prototypes and first articles using rapid prototyping, CAD, and CAE tools. Participate in design reviews and risk assessments. Support root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts for design or production-related issues. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning in alignment with the NPD roadmap. Liaise with suppliers and vendors during the development of components and tooling. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and internal quality processes.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field (Master's preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in NPD, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based company. Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA). Strong understanding of DFM/DFA, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis. Hands-on experience with prototyping methods, materials selection, and testing. Familiarity with Stage-Gate or Agile NPD processes. Excellent project management and communication skills. Working knowledge of ISO and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, CE) as applicable to the industry.

Bonus if you have:

PLM and ERP systems experience Six Sigma or Lean methodologies exposure Familiarity with embedded systems (if applicable). Patent or IP experience.
