Role Overview:
The Sales Manager - B2B will be responsible for developing and managing business relationships with OEMs, after sales market suppliers, and large distributors across India and selected export markets. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and strengthening the brand presence of Silco Automotive in the B2B segment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and untapped market segments.
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team and individually.
2. Business Development (B2B)
Identify and acquire new OEM and after market clients in domestic and export markets.
Generate leads through networking, industry events, and market intelligence.
Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
3. Key Account Management
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
Act as a point of contact for clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
4. Team Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with the internal sales support team for quotations, samples, and dispatches.
Maintain CRM/database of leads, prospects, and customers.
Provide regular sales reports, market insights, and forecasts to management.
5. After-Sales Support
Address client concerns post-sale and coordinate with the quality/service team to resolve issues.
Ensure repeat orders and long-term client retention.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or Business; MBA preferred.
Proven track record in B2B sales in automotive components.
Strong network among OEMs and automotive after sales market suppliers.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across India and abroad (if needed).
Understanding of automotive technical drawings/specifications is an added advantage.
