Job Description

1. onduct electroencephalograms (EEGs), nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), and evoked potential (EP) tests on patients. Set up and calibrate technical equipment and ensure accurate data collection during the tests.

2. Observe and monitor patients' vital signs, reactions, and responses throughout the diagnostic procedures. Ensure patient comfort and safety during the tests.

3. Analyze the collected data and prepare detailed reports for physicians and healthcare professionals. Identify abnormal patterns and deviations from normal brain and nerve function.

4. Clean, maintain, and calibrate neurodiagnostic equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate repairs if required.

5. Explain the procedures and tests to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have. Provide instructions for pre-test preparations and post-test care.

6. Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases, provide input, and assist in treatment planning.

7. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, test results, and reports. Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations.

8. Follow standardized protocols and procedures to maintain consistent and reliable testing results. Participate in quality control activities and assist in implementing improvement measures.

Neurodiagnostic Technologist Required Skills



1. Knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology: Understanding of the structure and functions of the central and peripheral nervous systems.

2. Proficiency in neurodiagnostic procedures: Ability to perform and interpret EEGs, NCS, EMG, and EP tests.

3. Technical proficiency: Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting neurodiagnostic equipment and software.

4. Attention to detail: Ability to accurately record and analyze data, recognizing abnormalities or deviations.

5. Communication skills: Clear and effective communication with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.

6. Multitasking and time management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

7. Patient care and empathy: Compassion and sensitivity towards patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during tests.

8. Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to neurodiagnostic testing.

Pay: ?22,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
