Job Description

Position Summary



The Neuropsychologist will be responsible for conducting

comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations

,

cognitive screenings

, and providing

therapeutic interventions

for senior citizens experiencing age-related cognitive, emotional, or behavioral concerns. The role will also include

home visits

for assessments and interventions for clients unable to visit the center.

The ideal candidate will bring both clinical expertise and compassion, working collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and caregivers to enhance the quality of life for older adults.

Key Responsibilities



Assessment & Screening



Conduct detailed

neuropsychological evaluations

for elderly clients presenting with cognitive decline, dementia, stroke, Parkinson's, or other neurodegenerative conditions. Perform

screenings for memory, attention, executive functions, and emotional well-being

using standardized tools. Design individualized assessment batteries suited for geriatric populations. Prepare

comprehensive clinical reports

and communicate findings to families, referring doctors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Therapeutic Interventions



Provide evidence-based interventions, including

cognitive retraining, behavioral therapy, and memory enhancement programs

. Support families and caregivers through

psychoeducation and counseling

to manage care at home. Develop and monitor

individualized care plans

based on assessment outcomes. Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychiatrists) for holistic rehabilitation.

Home Visits



Conduct home-based assessments and interventions for clients unable to travel. Train caregivers in at-home cognitive stimulation and behavioral management techniques. Ensure proper documentation and follow-up of all home visit sessions.

Program & Research



Contribute to the design and evaluation of

Active Aging

,

Memory Clinic

, and

Cognitive Wellness

programs. Maintain accurate records and contribute to internal audits or outcome measurement studies. Participate in training sessions, awareness programs, and outreach initiatives.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
