Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed neurological histories and physical examinations.

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, headache and migraine, and neurodegenerative diseases.

• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS).

• Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.

• Provide emergency neurological care, particularly in stroke management, ensuring timely intervention within critical time windows.

• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.

• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital-based research projects.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.

• Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, prognosis, and lifestyle modifications.

• Contribute to teaching and training of medical residents, interns, and allied health professionals.

Requirements:

• MBBS with MD/DM in Neurology from a recognized medical institution.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or tertiary care setting.

• Proven expertise in Stroke Management, Epilepsy, Headache & Migraine, Neurodegenerative Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Dementia, and Neuromuscular Disorders.

• Hands-on experience with Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) including interpretation and reporting.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based guidelines and protocols in neurology.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team under time-sensitive conditions.

• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and relevant state medical councils.

• Willingness to be on call for emergency neurological cases.
