Neurology Department

, we are inviting applications from qualified and experienced

Neuro Technicians

who are passionate about contributing to high-quality neuro-diagnostic care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and assist in

neuro-diagnostic procedures

such as: Electroencephalography (EEG) Electromyography (EMG) Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) Sleep Study Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) and other evoked potential studies. Ensure proper

patient preparation, positioning, and comfort

before, during, and after diagnostic procedures.

Operate, monitor, and maintain neuro-diagnostic machines

and ensure accurate calibration and functionality. Record and interpret test results under the supervision of neurologists or consultants. Maintain proper documentation and

prepare detailed reports

of diagnostic findings. Handle emergency diagnostic procedures with a calm and systematic approach. Follow hospital policies and

infection control protocols

during all procedures. Provide

technical support during neurophysiological monitoring

in the ICU or operating room, as required. Ensure the confidentiality, safety, and well-being of all patients at every stage of the diagnostic process. Assist consultants in

research or clinical studies

related to neuro-diagnostics when assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent technical knowledge of neuro-diagnostic equipment and testing protocols. Strong observation, analytical, and documentation skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and clinicians. Ability to handle sensitive patient conditions with empathy and professionalism. Team-oriented, punctual, and committed to high standards of clinical excellence.

Educational Qualification:

B.Sc / Diploma (DME) in Neuro Technology from a recognized university or institution. Additional certifications or training in EEG, EMG, NCV, or related diagnostic procedures will be an added advantage.

Experience:

Minimum

2-5 years

of relevant experience as a Neuro Technician in a reputed multi-speciality hospital or diagnostic centre. Hands-on experience in operating neurophysiological equipment and handling various diagnostic procedures independently.
