Cyber Security & Networking Trainer (BCA - 2nd Semester)

Job Summary

The Cyber Security & Networking Trainer is responsible for delivering foundational training to BCA 2nd-semester students in computer networking and cybersecurity concepts. The trainer focuses on building strong theoretical knowledge along with basic practical skills to prepare students for higher studies and entry-level roles in IT security.

Key Responsibilities

Teach

Networking Fundamentals

(OSI Model, TCP/IP, IP addressing, routing, switching). Introduce

Cyber Security Basics

(threats, malware, phishing, firewalls, encryption). Conduct practical lab sessions on network security tools and simulations. Explain

Linux/Windows security concepts

and system protection methods. Train students on

safe internet practices and ethical hacking basics

(introductory level). Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and lab manuals. Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practicals. Guide students in cybersecurity best practices and IT ethics. Provide academic mentoring and technical support.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in

Computer Science / IT / Cyber Security / Networking

. Strong knowledge of

Cyber Security and Networking

. Teaching or training experience preferred.
Required Skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Knowledge of

network security tools

(Wireshark, Nmap - basic level). Familiarity with

Linux systems

and security commands. Understanding of firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems. Classroom management and student mentoring skills.
