Key Responsibilities
Conduct
research and development
in networking technologies, protocols, and system integration.
Design and execute
test plans
for routers, switches, firewalls, and different operating systems (Linux, Windows, Unix, etc.).
Perform
functional, interoperability, performance, and scalability testing
on networking devices and software.
Analyze network behavior under different configurations and workloads.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to identify and resolve issues.
Maintain a strong knowledge base of industry standards, protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, VPN, etc.), and emerging trends.
Develop scripts and automation frameworks for testing and validation (e.g., Python, Shell, Ansible).
Document research findings, test results, and recommendations in clear, detailed reports.
Support
PoC (Proof of Concept)
implementations and customer test environments as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in
networking R&D, testing, or system integration
.
Strong knowledge of
networking concepts, protocols, and routing technologies
.
Hands-on experience with
routers, switches, and firewalls
from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent.
Proficiency in working with
Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
.
Experience in writing and executing test plans, and analyzing packet captures (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump).
Familiarity with
network automation tools
(Python, Ansible, Bash, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a lab environment.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
