About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Networking & Internet Specialist to manage and maintain seamless internet connectivity and network infrastructure within our co-working space. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted services for our members, supporting multiple devices, high bandwidth requirements, and providing prompt troubleshooting and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Management & Maintenance

Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewall systems. Monitor network performance to ensure uptime and proactively resolve issues. Manage bandwidth allocation and optimize internet speed across multiple users.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide on-site and remote support to members for network and internet-related issues. Diagnose and resolve connectivity problems, hardware failures, and configuration errors. Maintain helpdesk records and ensure timely issue resolution.

Infrastructure Planning & Security

Ensure secure and stable network connections, managing firewalls, VPNs, and access controls. Regularly update firmware and patch network devices to maintain security compliance. Collaborate with service providers for internet upgrades, outages, and SLA management.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain updated documentation of network configurations, IP allocations, and system logs. Generate periodic reports on network usage, downtime, and improvements.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in networking, preferably in hospitality/co-working/shared offices. Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting internet connectivity issues. Familiarity with network security protocols and bandwidth management tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends during emergencies.
