Title: Network Wireless Admin (Cisco Meraki / Aruba)
Location: Bangalore (Preferred) Hyderabad / Chennai
Exp: 5-8yrs
:

• Network Wireless Operations: maintain wireless network infrastructures using Meraki / Aruba wireless products and technologies.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues related to wireless network connectivity, performance, and security.
• Able to analyze network traffic, conducting RF site surveys, troubleshooting client connectivity problems, and investigating interference or signal degradation issues
• Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance and health of wireless networks using Meraki Platform and Aruba Central
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as firmware upgrades, patch management, and configuration backups to ensure system stability and security.
• Security and Authentication: Implement and manage wireless security features and authentication mechanisms, such as WPA/WPA2, 802.1X
• Able to assess network requirements, plan wireless coverage and capacity, and deploying access points
• Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize wireless solutions for optimal performance and reliability.
• Able to implement wireless access points, controllers, and network policies, as well as fine-tuning radio frequency (RF) settings, channel assignment, and power levels.
• Configure access control policies, guest access, and network segmentation to enforce security best practices.
• Integrate Meraki / Aruba wireless solutions with other network infrastructure components, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and authentication servers.
• Collaborate with network teams to ensure seamless operation and interoperability across the entire network infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wireless network configurations, and changes.
• Generate reports on network performance, capacity, and security for management and stakeholders.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding Meraki / Aruba wireless solutions and best practices.
• Available for off-hour scheduled and non-scheduled activities.
• Support 24*7 for Network service delivery in an efficient and effective manner.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Cisco Meraki Wireless administration (Must Have)
• Should have strong knowledge of RF basics, Knowledge of 802.11 standards and protocols.
• Strong knowledge on the working of 802.1x authentication and troubleshooting
• Should have hands-on experience with supporting Meraki / Aruba WLAN integrated with Aruba clearpass
• Must be able to support break-fix for Access-Points
• Analyze packet captures (wired and wireless)
