About The Job:

• We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Network Training faculty (L2) to join our training team.
• The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking technologies and practical troubleshooting skills.
• This role involves delivering interactive training sessions guiding associates through real-world network scenarios, creating high-quality training and lab content and preparing learners for deployment-L2 network support and operation roles.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver high quality lectures , lab sessions, and workshops on networking fundamentals and L2/L3 concepts
• Develop , update and maintain course content aligned with industry standards and enterprise network environments
• Guide associates through hands-on labs , simulations, and real-world troubleshooting scenarios
• Train learners on incident handling , problem management and operational best practices
• Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, labs and practical evaluations
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to improve technical and professional skills
• Create and validate assessment questions , lab solutions and case studies
• conduct mock interviews and prepare associates for L2 network support / Operations roles
• collaborate with internal stakeholders to keep curriculum relevant and deployment focused

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4-10 years of experience in Network Operations/Support/Engineering
• Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture and L2/L3 networking concepts
• Experience Working in NOC/SOC/IT Infrastructure environments
• Excellent communication, Presentation and mentoring skills
• Experience with ITIL based operations and ticket-driven environments
• Openness to learning adjacent technologies (cloud networking, Security basics, automation)

Technical Skills Required:

• Networking Fundamentals

• OSI & TCP/IP models
• Ethernet, ARP, ICMP
• IP addressing, subnetting, CIDR, VLSM
• VLANS, Trunking (802.1Q), Inter-VLAN Routing
• STP, RSTP fundamentals

Routing & Switching (L2/L3)

• Static & Dynamic Routing (RIP, OSPF,EIGRP and BGP fundamentals)
• Switching Concepts:MAC table, CAM, port security
• High Availability basics:HSRP/VRRP (Conceptual)

Network services

• DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP
• NAT basics
• Load balancing concepts

Network Security basics

• Firewalls(concepts, rule basics)
• ACLS(Standard & extended)
• VPN Fundamentals (IPsec, SSL- overview)
• Network Security best practices

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Network troubleshooting methodology
• Packet flow analysis
• Tools: Ping, Traceroute, Wireshark (basic), NetFlow Concepts
• Root cause Analysis and escalation handling

Tools & Technologies

• Network devices: Cisco / Juniper (conceptual + hands-on preferred)
• Network simulators: Packet tracer , GNS3(preferred)
• Monitoring Tools : SolarWinds / PRTG/ Nagios
• Ticketing tools : ServiceNow / Remedy / Jira
• Documentation tools :Word, Excel

Cloud & Modern Networking

• Basics of cloud Networking
• VPC / VNET concepts
• Hybrid connectivity overview

Certifications

• CCNA/CCNP
• ITIL foundation
