We are looking for a motivated Network Trainee to support our IT/network team. The candidate will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting basic network infrastructure while learning core networking concepts and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and hubs
Support basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues
Help with IP address management and subnetting tasks
Learn and apply basic networking protocols like DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
Use network diagnostic commands and tools (ping, tracert, ipconfig)
Collaborate with the IT team on network-related tasks and documentation
Key Skills:
Basic understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models
Knowledge of IP addressing and subnetting
Familiarity with network devices (routers, switches)
Basic troubleshooting skills using command-line tools
Understanding of DHCP and DNS protocols
Educational Qualification:
Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Soft Skills:
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn and adapt
