Help configure LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
Support basic network cabling and labeling.

Monitoring and Maintenance
Monitor network performance and report any irregularities.
Perform routine checks on connectivity, bandwidth, and latency.
Assist in applying firmware or software updates.

Troubleshooting Support
Respond to user-reported network issues under supervision.
Diagnose basic connectivity problems (e.g., IP conflicts, cable faults).
Document incidents and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.

Documentation and Reporting
Maintain network diagrams and asset inventories.
Update configuration records and change logs.
Prepare daily/weekly status reports for supervisors.
5.
Security and Compliance
Support the implementation of network security measures (e.g., access controls, antivirus updates).
Learn to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
Follow data protection and IT policies.
6.
Learning and Development
Participate in training on networking tools, protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Study for relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Juniper JNCIA).
Shadow senior engineers to gain practical exposure.
