The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless equipment, routers, and switches. This role plays a key part in ensuring uninterrupted service and customer satisfaction.
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, modems, wireless access points, and fiber-optic systems.
Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on network equipment.
Monitor network performance and respond to outages, degradation, or customer-reported issues in a timely manner.
Support the activation and testing of new customer connections (residential and commercial).
Work with engineering teams to implement network upgrades and expansions.
Conduct site surveys and assist with the planning of network layouts.
Document network configurations, updates, and service records.
Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve technical issues.
Maintain compliance with safety and industry standards during all field and technical operations.
