Job Description

Maintenance & Monitoring:

Operate master consoles, monitor network performance (routers, switches, firewalls), and perform routine upkeep like applying patches and backups.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, network faults, and connectivity problems for end-users and systems.

Installation & Configuration:

Set up and configure new network equipment, software, firewalls, VPNs, and user accounts.

Security:

Implement security measures, manage firewalls, update virus protection, and enforce access controls.

Support & Training:

Provide technical assistance to users and train staff on new systems.

Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed records of network configurations, procedures, and incident reports.

Project Collaboration:

Work with other IT teams to develop and implement network upgrades, new infrastructure, or disaster recovery plans.
