Job Description

This involves configuring network hardware like routers and switches, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures like firewalls. They also monitor network performance, upgrade systems, and collaborate with other IT teams.

Qualification: BSC - IT, BE/ B.tech Computer Engineering / Information Technology

Experience: Fresher - 3 Years (Immediate joiner preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

Creating and setting up network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPNs, etc.) based on organizational needs.

Hardware and Software Management:

Configuring, installing, and maintaining network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.

Network Security:

Implementing and maintaining security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems to protect the network from threats.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

Identifying and resolving network issues, monitoring performance, and conducting routine maintenance.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining up-to-date documentation of network configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures.

Collaboration:

Working with other IT teams and potentially with external service providers on projects and network-related tasks.

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of new network technologies and trends to ensure the network remains efficient and secure.
Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, etc.), routing, switching, and security concepts.

Troubleshooting Abilities:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve network issues.

Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Time Management:

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Teamwork:

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
