Maintenance and monitoring
: Oversee and maintain computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), routers, switches, and firewalls to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting
: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure reliability and availability.
Configuration and installation
: Install, configure, and upgrade network equipment, software, and security protocols.
Security
: Implement and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect data and systems.
Support and training
: Provide technical support to end users and train staff on new systems and procedures.
Documentation
: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Performance analysis
: Analyze network performance data and recommend improvements or upgrades.
