Job Summary : Network Support Engineer

We are seeking a Network Support Engineer to manage, monitor, and support high-availability network infrastructure for a stock broking environment, ensuring uninterrupted trading, low latency, and secure connectivity across branches, dealers, and exchanges.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor network connectivity for

trading terminals, dealer rooms, and branch offices

Ensure

low-latency and high-uptime

network performance during market hours Troubleshoot network issues impacting

trading platforms, OMS, RMS, and exchange connectivity (NSE/BSE/MCX)

Configure and support

routers, switches, firewalls, leased lines, MPLS, and VPNs

Coordinate with

ISPs, exchange network teams, and vendors

for link issues and escalations Monitor

leased lines, RF links, and backup internet links

Implement and maintain

network security policies

as per compliance requirements Support

DR/BCP network setup

and periodic testing Maintain network documentation, IP plans, and compliance records Provide

real-time support during market hours

and critical incidents

Required Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of

LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

Hands-on experience with

Cisco / Fortinet / Sophos / Microtask

devices Understanding of

trading network architecture and exchange connectivity

Experience with

network monitoring tools

Basic understanding of

cybersecurity and compliance norms

in financial services

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in

Stock Broking / Trading Firm / Capital Market IT Support

Familiarity with

dealer terminals, branch connectivity, and exchange circuits

Soft Skills

Quick problem-solving during live market hours Strong coordination and communication skills Ability to work under pressure
