:
Provide L2 operational support for multi-vendor network security platforms (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, Cisco ASA).
Troubleshoot and resolve firewall, proxy, and security gateway incidents raised by L1 or automated monitoring systems.
Perform daily health checks on firewalls, IPS, load balancers, and security gateways (CPU/memory utilization, interface status, and performance metrics).
Conduct log analysis and policy reviews to identify security incidents, configuration issues, or optimization opportunities.
Support security audit and compliance reviews using tools such as Tufin, ensuring policies adhere to organizational and regulatory standards.
Work with SOC teams to manage s, correlate events, and ensure timely remediation of identified threats.
Maintain documentation for configurations, operational procedures, and incident reports.
Collaborate with cloud teams on AWS/GCP network security, including Network Security Groups and visibility tools such as Wiz.
Support change management processes, including firewall rule changes, configuration updates, and patching cycles.
Participate in continuous improvement of network security processes, including automation and integration of monitoring tools.
Required Skills
4-7 years of hands-on experience in Network Security Operations.
Strong operational expertise in managing and troubleshooting Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, and Cisco ASA firewalls.
Working knowledge of IPS (Sourcefire), CASB (Netskope), SSL proxies (Bluecoat), email/web security gateways (FireEye ETP), and load balancers (F5).
Proficiency with Tufin, Wiz, Jira, and ITSM tools for policy audits, compliance tracking, and ticket management.
Familiarity with AWS and GCP network security features, including security groups and firewall policies.
Understanding of cloud security concepts such as CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP, and vulnerability management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with an emphasis on timely issue resolution and collaboration.
