Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and administration of perimeter security systems.
• Should have an understanding of network security practices. Excellent customer service while solving problems should be a top priority.
• Strong written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
• Self-starter, critical and strategic thinker, negotiator and consensus builder.
• Basic knowledge of client-server applications, multi-tier web applications, relational Databases.
• Should be a pro-active individual, take direction well, communicate briefly and collaborate effectively.
• Works as part of a team to ensure that corporate data and technology platform components are safeguarded from known threats
• Communicate effectively with customers, teammates, and management
• Provide input on tuning and optimization of security systems
• Follow ITIL practices regarding incident, problem and change management
• Document and maintain customer build documents, security procedures and processes.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging security threats including applicable regulatory security requirements.
• Recommend enhancements to SOC security process, procedures and policies.
• Participate in security incident management and vulnerability management processes
• Develop and implement risks, threat, and vulnerability mitigation plans.
• Incident/Problem Management & Root Cause Analysis.
• Work with external partners, vendors, and customers to clearly document and distribute FAQs for knowledge transfer and consistently accurate resolutions. Overall responsibility for the operation and security of the IP networking environment. Should have Worked on Firewall policies, Failover, multiple context mode, Transparent firewall and proxy of firewalls i.e. ASA, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Sophos, Juniper SRX
• Configuration, Management and troubleshooting of Web Application firewall. Preferred platform is Cloudflare WAF.
• Configuration, Management and troubleshooting of Symantec End point Protection and End point detection and response
• Configuration, Management and troubleshooting of Bluecoat proxy server.
• Configuration, management and troubleshooting of IPS/IDS - McAfee, Tipping Point.
• Configuration, management and troubleshooting of Solarwinds
• In depth understanding of switching and routing protocol
• Configuration, management and troubleshooting of DLP \xe2\x80\x93 McAfee, O365.
• Configuration, management and troubleshooting of 2Factor Authentication- RSA
• Reporting and Ticketing tool \xe2\x80\x93 BMC Remedy, Forti Analyzer, etc.
• Configuration, management and troubleshooting of various VPNs such as Site to site VPN (IKE V1 and V2), DMVPN, SSL VPN, GRE tunneling
• Should be familiar security features such as NAT, Security Profiling, ACLs, IPS, failover, Multi-context mode, URL filtering, PBR, etc.
• Configuration, Management and troubleshooting of load balancer- ARRAY, F5
• Strong security related skills, including use and configuration of: SSH, MFA, SSO, encryption, SSL, certificates, PKI, monitoring, intrusion detection, etc.
• Understanding of product like Deception, Microsoft office 365 Cloud, AAA
• Good knowledge of IT including multiple operating systems and system administration skills (Windows, Linux, Unix)
• Should have at least two of the certifications CCNA/CCNP Security/ CCIE Security, NextGen Firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, DLP and NAC.
