Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled

Network Engineer

with expertise in

Palo Alto

and

Fortinet

technologies. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures using Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Aruba solutions. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.

Responsibilities

1. Design, deploy, and maintain Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall configurations to ensure the security and integrity of the network infrastructure.

2. Implement and manage VPN solutions using Palo Alto GlobalProtect, Fortinet FortiGate, and FortiManager.

3. Configure and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security policies to enforce network access control and threat prevention.

4. Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements and compliance standards.

6. Perform regular software upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks on Palo Alto and Fortinet devices to ensure optimal performance and security.

7. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

8. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.

9. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to network security and Palo Alto/Fortinet/Aruba products.

10. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies outside of regular business hours, if required.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Aruba technologies.

3. Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and TCP/IP fundamentals.

4. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewall platforms (PA-Series, Panorama) and Fortinet FortiGate firewall appliances including FortiManager.

5. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting VPNs, SSL decryption, IPS, and application-level security features.

6. Experience with network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).

7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

8. Relevant certifications such as

PCNSE (Palo Alto)

and

Fortinet NSE

are a plus.

9. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving network performance.

10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ?35,000.00 per month
