Senior Analyst, Network Operation- Technology & Infrastructure
Work you will do:
The Technology and Infrastructure organization is prioritizing innovation within the business. Developing cutting-edge technology solutions and transforming legacy platforms into modern architectures is essential. The Network Engineer is responsible for directly interfacing with Deloitte customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver and administer networking solutions, resolve incidents, and fulfill user requests in accordance with business needs and organizational processes and guidelines. Additionally, the role includes overseeing the infrastructure and network architecture functions to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality designs that align with the strategic direction of organization.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers.
Multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
Work with architectural and design groups to ensure accuracy of designs and standards compliance.
Communicate effectively with clients and staff at all levels.
Ensure optimization and performance of the network infrastructure.
Monitoring the overall performance of systems to assess the need for, upgrades, enhancements, preventive maintenance, and new systems, and recommending options for upgrading and improving the performance of systems.
Responsible for analyzing and escalating the incidents and problems, as necessary to the Management.
Raising incident or problem tickets with Vendor for necessary assistance, troubleshooting and Coordination
Participate in Change Management, by analyzing the Risk and Impact to Business
Conduct regular preventive maintenance of the system.
Monitor System health and ensure availability of latest back up of the system to avoid disruptions to Business.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Total Experience: Min 4-6 years (L3)
Location: Pune
Timings: 11AM to 8PM / 2 to 11 PM
Working Model: Hybrid - 3 days' work from Office as of now (will have to resume back completely based on firm's guidance)
Must Have: CCNA R&S/ Wireless Technologies
Qualifications:
Required:
Hands on experience on Cisco Switches & Routers
Sound Knowledge of LAN, WLAN, WAN, Switching and Routing
Good understanding of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), IPv6, Multicast, STP, Fabric path, VPC, VDC, OTV, TCP/IP.
Experience with the following technologies: MPLS, VPLS, DNS, DHCP, VDI, 802.1x, system/network/storage/security components, and other related programs; Ability to learn new systems as needed.
Experience with Cisco NXOS, IOS XE, IOS XR. Cisco AS100X, Nexus 9336, 93180, 9504 etc.
Experience with enterprise wireless. Wireless Controllers and Access Point, 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax, Guest Wireless, etc.
Should be familiar with Network Security concepts and VPN Tunnel configurations.
Knowledge of DNAC, CPI, AppNeta, WAN Optimization tools and other emerging technology.
Knowledge in Checkpoint, Palo Alto firewall technologies
Experience in designing SD-WAN solutions.
