Network Engineer & IT Support

We are seeking a skilled

Network Engineer & IT Support professional

responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting an organization's network infrastructure and end-user IT systems. The role includes network operations, troubleshooting, security management, and providing day-to-day technical support to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Engineering

Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks Install, configure, and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability Configure and manage firewall policies (e.g., Check Point, Sophos, FortiGate) Implement network security measures and best practices Manage IP addressing, VLANs, routing, and switching Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams

IT Support & Operations

Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, applications, and antivirus Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control (Active Directory, email) Support Wi-Fi infrastructure and access point monitoring tools (e.g., UniFi Controller) Handle CCTV, door access systems, and basic IoT device support Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for circuit issues and escalations Perform regular system health checks and preventive maintenance

Infrastructure & Data Center Support

Support server room activities including rack, stack, and cabling Manage structured cabling, patch panels, raceways, and physical connectivity Assist in backup monitoring and basic disaster recovery activities Ensure proper labeling and documentation of network assets

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field 2-5 years of experience in Network Engineering and IT Support Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, and wireless networks Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and best practices Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Certifications

CCNA / CCNP Network+ Firewall or Security certifications (Check Point, Sophos, Fortinet) Microsoft or ITIL certification (added advantage)
