Job Description

:
Monitor and manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, SDWAN and WAN links.
Troubleshoot network issues, including LAN/WAN connectivity, VPN, and Internet circuits (ILL, MPLS, SD-WAN, etc.).
Perform initial diagnosis of network s and escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 or OEM support.
Manage incident, change, and problem tickets via ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
Support configuration, upgrades, and patch management of network devices as per change management processes.
Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for link outages, latency, or hardware replacements.
Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and IP inventory.
Ensure compliance with network security policies and participate in vulnerability remediation activities.
Provide on-call and remote support for critical outages and planned maintenance windows.
Assist in implementing new network solutions or enhancements under senior engineers' guidance.
Hands-on experience with Cisco / Fortinet / HP / Juniper / Palo Alto devices.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
Knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL), and SD-WAN solutions.
Familiar with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.
Basic understanding of firewall policies, ACLs, and network segmentation.
Exposure to Wi-Fi configuration and troubleshooting.
