Network Engineer profile with Palo alto VPN experience:

The role requires strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies, with a focus on Cisco UCS, Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco Catalyst platforms, alongside experience in monitoring, VPN/MFA, and endpoint security solutions. Familiarity with cloud integration (Azure, VMware) will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, configure, and maintain Cisco UCS servers, VMware environments, and Catalyst 9K/3K switches (core, distribution, and access layers).
Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto PA-3220 firewalls (Active/Passive HA), VPN/IPsec tunnels, and firewall policies.
Oversee WAN connectivity (Spectrum E-LAN) and inter-site routing (OSPF).
Monitor and support network performance using tools such as Auvik, SolarWinds, and SNMP alerts.
Ensure endpoint protection and threat monitoring with tools like CrowdStrike and SEM (Security Event Manager).
Manage Duo VPN (GlobalProtect MFA) for secure remote access.
Perform VLAN management, subnet segmentation, and enforce access control/security best practices.
Support and test disaster recovery, redundancy, and high availability configurations across sites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support applications, servers, and cloud integrations.
Document network topology, configurations, and maintain updated architecture diagrams.
Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot incidents, and implement improvements to ensure network reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
5-8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a medium-to-large enterprise environment.
