Job: Network Engineer

Location: Pune

:

The network engineer performs day to day operations across a physical data center as well as the Google Cloud. The network engineer is responsible for 24x7 uptime of network components in a critical healthcare environment. The network engineer collaborates with other team members on troubleshooting and proactive implementations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
Experience with Fortinet, Cisco ASA and FPR firewall technologies
Understanding of HIPPAA regulations and PHI containment
Experience with Fortinet SSL VPN and FortiSSO
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, and controllers.
Cisco certification preferred
Experience working with datacom carriers to turn up circuits and complete routing
Cisco switch configuration
Proficiency in Cisco ISE for NAM and NAC
Experience with Solarwinds monitoring and IPAM management
Cisco router configuration experience using protocols such as OSPF
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
Network security experience.
LAN and WAN experience.
Part of on-call rotation
Replacing faulty network hardware components when required
Proficiency in troubleshooting network-related problems and system failures
Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.
Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network securit measures.
Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment."
