Job Overview

We are seeking a

CCIE Certified Network Engineer

with expertise in

SolarWinds

,

Cisco DNA

, and in-depth knowledge of network technologies, including

Cisco, Juniper, Aruba/HPE

, and

Citrix NetScaler Load Balancers

. This individual will be responsible for configuration and change management, supporting wireless and remote access, ensuring network compliance, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.


The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network infrastructure, security best practices, and configuration management.

Job Responsibilities

Configuration & Change Management

Execute approved, low-risk standard changes such as VLAN additions, port assignments, and access-port switchport reconfigurations.
Perform DNS and DHCP updates where applicable.
Maintain, back up, and manage network device configurations.
Validate configuration drift reports and remediate deviations based on established network baselines.
Track, report, and ensure firmware versions remain current across all network devices.

Wireless & Remote Access Support

Monitor and troubleshoot wireless access points, controllers, and authentication issues using Aruba Clearpass and Aruba Central.
Assist with guest Wi-Fi provisioning and SSID configuration following predefined templates.
Monitor and manage VPN tunnels (site-to-site and remote access), ensuring performance, stability, and security.
Handle VPN user provisioning/deprovisioning and certificate lifecycle tasks.

Documentation & Compliance

Update and maintain network topology diagrams using Visio, NetBox, or similar tools.
Manage IP Address Management (IPAM) records and ensure accuracy across all network documentation.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
Ensure all changes are logged, approved, and tracked in ITSM systems.
Maintain version-controlled configuration archives with timestamps.
Ensure compliance with documentation standards and audit requirements.

Skills Required:

Certifications

CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) - Routing & Switching (Mandatory).

Technical Experience

Strong expertise in SolarWinds monitoring and management.
In-depth hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Center for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Experience working with Juniper Networks, Aruba/HPE networking solutions, and Citrix NetScaler load balancers.
Extensive experience in VLAN management, device configuration, and configuration backup processes.
Proficient with wireless technologies and tools such as Aruba Clearpass and Aruba Central.
Demonstrated experience with VPN solutions (site-to-site & remote access), including tunnel monitoring and support.

Core Technical Skills

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills using SolarWinds, Wireshark, and other industry tools.
Solid understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, authentication, and VPN technologies.
Familiarity with scripting/automation tools such as Ansible or Python (preferred).
Strong documentation and communication skills.

Tools & Platforms

SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, Aruba Clearpass, Aruba Central, Citrix NetScaler.
Network documentation tools such as Visio and NetBox.
Experience using ITSM platforms for change and incident management.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with network programmability/automation (Ansible, Python).
Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, or similar).
Exposure to next-generation firewalls and security appliances.
Familiarity with multi-site architectures and SD-WAN technologies.
