Job Title: Network Engineer - L2 (Mid-Level)
Experience: 8+ Years
Mode of Hire : Fulltime
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WAN, and Wireless.
• Handle high-level troubleshooting for WAN, LAN, Wireless, and VPN-related issues.
• Configure and manage switches (Cisco, HP Aruba, Fortinet) and ensure optimal performance.
• Manage firewall rules and security policies in FortiGate and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Configure and manage VPN setups (Global Protect, FortiClient VPN).
• Lead network infrastructure design, implementation, and optimization.
• Design and enforce security policies on FortiGate and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Architect switching and routing topologies for optimal performance and redundancy.
• Manage high-availability (HA) setups, load balancing, and failover strategies.
• Assist in network upgrades, patches, and hardware replacements.
• Work with ISPs to troubleshoot WAN connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with ISP vendors for network enhancements and link upgrades.
• Evaluate and implement new network technologies and upgrades.
• Mentor L1 engineers and provide technical training.
• Implement and maintain Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager for secure Wi-Fi access.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Strong experience in WAN optimization and BGP/MPLS architecture.
• Strong knowledge of switching & routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, etc.)
• Deep expertise in Cisco, HP Aruba, and Fortinet switching.
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate and Palo Alto firewall rule configurations.
• Advanced firewall security knowledge (FortiGate, Palo Alto PAN-OS, NAT, IPS, IDS, etc.).
• Understanding of network monitoring tools (e.g., ManageEngine, SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios etc).
• Certification preferred: CCNP, Fortinet NSE 4, Palo Alto PCNSE.
