Network Engineer - CCNP/CCIE (Hyderabad)

The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and administering computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. The engineer will be working closely with users of our network to identify potential issues and resolve existing problems.



To be a successful candidate, you will need to have an advanced understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices, including wireless, routers, switches, and firewalls. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 7 years of hands-on experience supporting large enterprise Cisco networks design and administration


Experience should include Cisco 3xxx/4xxx/ASR/ISR routers, Nexus 7K, 45xx/38xx/93xx switches, ASA firewalls, Cisco ISE, and WLC (Wireless LAN Controller).


Experience should include Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect, IDS/IPS


Experience should include network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark.


Degree or certifications in related field a plus (CCNA, CCNP, etc.).


Strong understanding of network concepts and routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), MPLS, VPLS, VoIP, QoS/CoS, S2S VPN, and security/compliance. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


Excellent written and communication skills for a technical and non-technical audience.


Work with global engineering and desktop teams to support the enterprise.


Utilize ticketing systems to complete work and follow proper change management procedures.


Design, implement, manage, secure, and documentation of multi-site Cisco networks.


Determine and recommend hardware and software requirements to support the enterprise.


Troubleshoot hardware and software issues associated with LAN/WAN networks and servers.


Effective use of monitoring applications and equipment, from Cisco to power management and backup systems.


Participation, including assuming the role of overall IT point of contact with clients on calls and meetings.


Act as escalation point with occasional 24/7 on-call support for major outages and client support
