Oracle Cerner is excited to hire a Network Engineer I. As a Network Engineer I, you will be responsible to design, support, install, and maintain local area network, wide area network, and wireless network components. You will be responsible to work on and maintain hardware components, including firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches and access points. You will be responsible to troubleshoot network connectivity issues. You will be responsible to perform project work to update or replace network equipment. You will be responsible to configure or upgrade network components. You will also be responsible to complete assigned incident management tasks.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) - CWNP
Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) - Cisco
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Cisco
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Wireless - Cisco
Expectations:
May be required to lift up to 20 lbs., i.e. server, network equipment
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position
