Job Description

Network Design and Implementation:

Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Planning and configuring network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls. Ensuring network security and data protection.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network issues. Monitoring network performance and identifying potential bottlenecks. Providing technical support to users and other IT staff.

Network Security:

Implementing and maintaining network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs. Staying up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

Collaboration and Communication:

Working with other IT staff and stakeholders to ensure network needs are met. Communicating technical information clearly and concisely.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations and procedures.

Continuous Learning:

Staying current with the latest network technologies and trends.
Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls). Familiarity with network security technologies. Understanding of cloud networking concepts. Proficiency in network troubleshooting and performance tuning.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to new technologies and situations.
