Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Network Engineer

with strong expertise in

FortiGate Firewall

administration and network security management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot

FortiGate Firewalls

and related network security devices. Implement and manage

VPNs, VLANs, NAT, routing, and security policies

. Monitor network performance and security incidents; perform regular audits and updates. Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy secure network solutions. Manage

LAN/WAN

, wireless networks, and internet connectivity. Perform firmware upgrades, backup configurations, and ensure network redundancy. Provide Tier-2/3 support for network-related issues and escalation handling. Maintain detailed network documentation and change logs. Stay updated with emerging security threats and recommend proactive solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience

with

FortiGate Firewall

(installation, configuration, and troubleshooting). Strong knowledge of

network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)

. Experience with

VPN (IPSec/SSL)

configuration and management. Familiarity with

network monitoring tools

(e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, FortiAnalyzer). Understanding of

network security principles

and

best practices

. Relevant certifications preferred:

Fortinet NSE 4/5/6

,

CCNA

, or equivalent.
