  • Perform detailed network analysis to resolve extremely complex technical issues in network operations
  • Design, implement and provide ongoing support for wireless and wired technology-based solutions in Data center/Enterprise environments.
  • Perform analysis at physical, data, control, and higher order protocol layers and develops/prototypes network/communications systems. Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links.
  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records using Word, Excel, Visio, Service-Now, and other tools.
  • Aid in designing and deploying company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including but not limited to Switches, routers, firewalls, Access-points, WLCs. Interact and coordinate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
  • Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
Troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, WAN, and internet connectivity systems.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years in related planning, analysis, configuration, installation, system management and coordination work
Accountability:
  • Responsible for analysis of network characteristics and recommendations for procurement, removals, and modifications to network components.
  • Participate in managing all network connectivity and security solutions.
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
  • Taking end-to-end ownership of issues and tasks and owning accountability until resolution

Measured by stability and integrity of network services and enhancements, achieved in aiding with the planning, designing, and developing LANs, WANs and network management tools across the organization.

Key Challenges:
  • Respond as the Data Network Engineering representative in fixed 16x5 shifts to resolve emergent issues in Corporate network environments with On-call support after business hours if designated.
  • Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
  • Ensure network connectivity of all necessary devices.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed using SolarWinds, Wireshark and other tools
  • Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
  • Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
Functional Competencies:
  • Extensive experience with routing, switching, and good understanding of network Architecture
  • Exposure to network monitoring and NOC operations for proactive and reactive cases resolution
  • Good hands-on with Cisco products
  • Experience in network design and deployment for new requirements
  • Desirable experience with ASA, FTD firewall administration
  • Extensive experience in Cisco Wireless configuration and administration
  • Experience in the configuration and support of Cisco ISE
  • Experience applying QoS policies and netflow configurations
  • Exposure to F5 - Load balancer
  • Experience creating and maintaining IPSEC VPN connections
  • Cisco SDWAN/SDA & Umbrella will be added advantage
  • CCNP trained or CCNA certified
