Part of the international newtork team, the Enginneer will have to lead deployment project for LAN and Wifi across Smiths.

Duties & Responsibilities

What you'll do -

• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including switches, wireless equipment, Cisco ISE and Prime, DNS and DHCP
• Installing, configuring and supporting organization level Wireless network.
• Providing and sharing architecture documentation.
• Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
• Configuring routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Monitor and Troubleshoot faults in the network
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
• Generate report and share network status to key stakeholders

The Individual

What you'll definitely need -

• Engineering Graduate
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure domain.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers. Strong knowledge and understanding of networking concepts including but not limited to: subnetting,DHCP,DNS,routing and switching, spanning tree, port security ,ACL, Static routes,HSRP,EIGRP,OSPF.
• Excellent overall understanding hand on experience of Cisco products-Catalyst Switches, Nexus switches, routers, wireless controller and Wireless access points.
• Experience with monitoring tool (ie Solarwinds)
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience on Cisco Meraki range of products- Meraki Access Points, Meraki MX, Meraki Switch etc.
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience on Cisco ecosystem : ISE and Cisco Prime.
• Certification- CCNA/CCNP are plus.
• Strong communication skills
• Ready to learn new technologies and methodologies. Motivated by new challenges, technology
