to manage, coordinate, and support the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of telecommunications networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, project coordination, and network performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee network operations, installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Serve as a liaison between engineering teams, service providers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth network operations.
Track and manage network performance metrics, service-level agreements (SLAs), and fault reports.
Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, changes, and incident reports.
Support the planning and rollout of new network infrastructure and technology upgrades.
Troubleshoot and escalate network issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.
Assist with vendor management including scheduling, contract adherence, and performance review.
Maintain inventory of telecom equipment and ensure timely procurement and deployment.
Collaborate with project managers on network expansion and modernization projects.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
2+ years of experience in network coordination, telecom operations, or a similar role.
Familiarity with telecom infrastructure (fiber optics, wireless, LTE/5G, microwave, etc.).
Experience working with NOC (Network Operations Center) teams is an advantage.
Skills:
Strong understanding of network components: routers, switches, base stations, transmission lines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Netcool, etc.).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA Network+
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
ITIL Foundation
PMP (Project Management Professional) - optional but beneficial
Work Environment:
Office-based with occasional field/site visits.
May involve working non-standard hours during critical incidents or maintenance windows.
