Deep knowledge of one or more platforms: Cisco IOS/XE/XR/NX-OS, Juniper Junos, Nokia SR OS

Hands-on experience with device provisioning, BGP/MPLS/VPN/ISIS/Multicast configuration, and platform-specific CLI (consider COLT specific network role alignment in terms of protocols and R&S as needed by other roles).

Experience with automation frameworks (even if not coding) like Ansible, NSO, or custom Python-based systems

Ability to define template logic for interface/VLAN/BGP/OSPF/service configurations

Strong collaboration and review skills for working with developers and testers

Familiarity with NETCONF/YANG models and CLI config mode differences across platforms

Responsibilities:

Provide vendor-specific network architecture and configuration insights (Nokia/Cisco/Juniper).

Define base and service configuration templates, including mandatory parameters and dependencies.

Validate Jinja2 templates and CLI command sequences before production rollout.

Support rollback strategy definition and platform-specific resilience handling (e.g., commit-confirm, checkpoint).

Assist in defining verification steps and expected output for automated tests.

Coordinate with Colt architecture, operations, and security teams to ensure framework alignment.

Participate in design reviews, script validation cycles, and pilot deployments.
