:
The L3 Network Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and advanced support of complex network infrastructures. The role involves managing routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers across enterprise and carrier-grade environments. The candidate should have strong expertise in Juniper, Cisco, and F5 technologies, with proven experience in securing and optimizing network performance for PCI/PII-compliant environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, configure, and troubleshoot routing and switching infrastructure (Juniper, Cisco).
Implement and maintain BGP routing and other advanced network protocols.
Administer and secure Juniper SRX firewalls, including rule creation, policy management, and threat mitigation.
Install, configure, and maintain F5 load balancers to ensure high availability and performance.
Design, document, and implement LAN/WAN network architectures and segmentation strategies.
Support network capacity planning, optimization, and redundancy initiatives.
Develop and enforce firewall and network policies to meet PCI/PII compliance standards.
Troubleshoot complex connectivity, performance, and security issues across multi-vendor environments.
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to deliver scalable and secure network solutions.
Maintain up-to-date network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration records.
Key Requirements
10+ years of hands-on experience in network administration and engineering (routers, switches, firewalls).
Strong working knowledge of Juniper and Cisco network devices.
Proven experience with routing protocols, especially BGP.
Expertise in Juniper SRX firewalls - configuration, rule management, and troubleshooting.
Experience with F5 load balancers (LTM, GTM preferred).
Deep understanding of WAN/LAN technologies and network segmentation principles.
Experience designing and maintaining carrier-grade or large enterprise networks.
Familiarity with PCI/PII compliance and firewall policy design.
Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
