We are looking for a

Network Administrator

to manage, secure, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure across multiple office branches and R&D facilities.

About the Role

The

Network Administrator

will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure IT and network systems that support daily operations and mission-critical UAV R&D activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

Active Directory, FortiGate firewalls, Omada controllers, VPNs, endpoint protection, Microsoft 365

, and

server management

with a strong focus on cybersecurity and network reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Network & System Administration

Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VLANs, Wi-Fi (Omada/TP-Link), and firewall policies (FortiGate). Manage and monitor network performance, latency, and bandwidth utilization using appropriate tools. Implement and maintain

VPN tunnels (IPSec)

for secure inter-branch connectivity and remote user access. Administer

Active Directory

,

DNS

,

DHCP

,

Group Policies

, and

file servers

. Manage virtualized infrastructure (VMs, NAS/SAN, hypervisors) and physical servers. Ensure uptime and redundancy through proactive network health checks and preventive maintenance.

Cybersecurity & Endpoint Protection

Deploy and monitor endpoint security suites (e.g., FortiClient, Windows Defender, Sophos, etc.). Enforce MFA, conditional access, and device security policies within Microsoft 365. Regularly patch systems and firmware, maintain antivirus definitions, and manage SIEM/logging tools. Conduct periodic

vulnerability assessments

and coordinate mitigation efforts. Maintain firewall and VPN logs, review IDS/IPS alerts, and respond to incidents.

Asset & User Management

Maintain and update asset inventory (laptops, servers, switches, routers, peripherals) and assign equipment to users. Configure and deploy devices with standardized OS images and security policies. Manage software licensing and compliance (Microsoft, Fortinet, Omada, etc.). Support onboarding/offboarding processes with timely provisioning/deprovisioning of access and hardware.

Remote & Multi-Branch Management

Remotely monitor, configure, and troubleshoot branch office networks via VPN and FortiGate Cloud/Omada Controller. Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune) and ensure seamless collaboration across locations. Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration backups.

Other Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with internal cybersecurity policies and defense-sector data security norms. Coordinate with external vendors for network upgrades and service issues. Participate in disaster recovery planning, backup management, and business continuity drills. Support internal audits and assist in drafting cybersecurity SOPs and checklists.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and firewall concepts. Proficiency with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Industry certifications preferred (any of the following):
