Handling and addressing user requests related to IT equipment (Desktop/Laptop and other peripherals).
Resolving issues through calls, emails, or remote support.
Preparing asset reports and emails.
Maintaining the company security system.
Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Monitoring, acknowledging, and troubleshooting server and service alerts received on monitoring platforms.
Ensuring maximum uptime and availability of the service by resolving issues.
Acting as the first point of contact to resolve or respond to any queries or issues related to hardware, software, and basic networking faced by other departments.
Providing quick resolution or escalating issues to the supervisor in a timely manner for any unresolved issues.
Taking ownership of reported issues and ensuring they are resolved.
Helping create technical documentation.
Additional Qualification and Skills:
Knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10, iOS, Ubuntu, Linux, etc.).
Knowledge of Server Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012, CentOS, Ubuntu, Cloud Backup Management, etc.), firewall, and switch router.
Familiarity with computer hardware parts.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Customer-oriented attitude.
Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
Completed computer hardware/network courses from certified institutes.
Ability to balance multiple priorities.
