SUMMARY
Network Administrators are responsible for making sure that Network infrastructure related to an organization's data network are effectively maintained. In organizations, they are typically involved in procurement, optimization, upgrade and maintenance of network devices, monitoring the performance of the network, checking for security breaches, poor data management practices.
The primary objective of a Network Administrator is to ensure data network connectivity within an organization. Network Administrators are in charge of making sure that connectivity is operational for all users in their organization and ensuring that data security over connections to the Internet are effectively managed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to server and network topology, equipment, and configuration(s)
Level 1/2 Support for problems identified within systems and network
Participate in the creation, maintenance, testing, and execution of the Disaster Recovery plan
Create, request, and present technical specifications and requirements for purchasing of new servers and networking equipment
Plan, design & monitor Asset management, monitoring and patch management tools
Participate in after-hours upgrades, troubleshooting, and/or on-call availability as needed
Standard system administration duties including server install, System/Application install and patch management, system problem determination and resolution, log analysis, etc.
Configure, test, and maintain LAN equipment and services, including switches, routers, firewalls and VPN
Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems including network connectivity, traffic utilization, etc. using available network tools in a timely fashion
Provide Infrastructure services in all areas as needed i.e. storage, networking, load balancing, Operating System, network security, directory services, server virtualization, system backup and restore, system and network monitoring
Contributes to the on-going improvement of operational processes
Establish a baseline for each IT assets and ensure that they are adhered
May require to travel
Providing high quality Network/Security Services
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and technology experience
Should Possess knowledge of Networking OS (IOS, IPSO, SonicOS)
Should have skills on upgrading firmware, handling network outages, DDoS Risk Mitigation, Monitoring the traffic
Should have primary knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Spiceworks, Whatsupgold)
Familiarity with Network, Network Devices, Firewall, etc.
Insight into the advantage and shortcomings of different platforms in different client contexts
Aptitude for technical writing and presenting factual information, analysis and recommendations
Solid verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Team player with a participative management and coaching style, which advocates a team concept
Open minded, desire to learn, quick thinker, creative problem solver
Minimum 1 years of experience in Networking
Excellent oral & written Communication and Inter-Personal Skills

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
